A/Prof Anusch Yazdani is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS Hons) and completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Brisbane. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive pelvic surgery in Sydney, he returned to Brisbane in 2002 to develop tertiary referral units in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. In 2006, he completed the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), distinguishing himself by unique subspecialist qualifications in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and minimally invasive pelvic surgery.
A/Prof Yazdani co-founded the Queensland Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (QIMIS), a not for-profit organization that conducts basic and advanced courses in pelvic surgery. His philosophy of evidence based, yet individually tailored care lead to the foundation of Eve Health Australia, a private womens health centre.
A/Prof Yazdani is a Visiting Medical Officer to the Mater Misericordiae, an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and a Director of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES). He joined the Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) in 2008 as Director of Clinical Research and Development.
