Dr Naguesh Naik Gaunekar has more than 13 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His interests include infertility, minimal invasive gynaecological surgery and women's ultrasound. He has received prestigious awards such as the Young Gynaecologist Award from the RANZCOG 2006-07 and the Beresford Buttery Overseas Traineeship from the Australian Society of Ultrasound Medicine (ASUM).
Having undertaken advanced training in Laparoscopic Surgery, Ultrasound and Infertility and subsequently working as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Adelaide, Dr Gaunekar made the move to Mackay in 2006, joining QFG to practice with Dr Herron.
