Friends of QFG

Friends of QFG is a patient support network with over 2000 members. ‘Friends’ began over 20 years ago with the establishment of QFG in Brisbane as a non profit, self help, and volunteer organization. It offers emotional support, comprehensive information and inspiration for people undergoing infertility treatment. The group organise a variety of events such as information evenings, morning teas and social events as well as having committee members for support and an extensive library.

Access

ACCESS Australia is a consumer based, independent, non profit organisation committed to being a national voice in promoting the well-being and welfare of infertile people of all ages, through representation in the general community and in the medical, scientific and political arenas.

Access aims to provide timely information about infertility and reproductive health. Members can access online fact sheets and newsletters. Access also maintains a register of infertility self help groups around Australia and overseas, counselors and a list of accredited infertility clinics.

All QFG patients receive one year’s membership to Friends and Access as part of their registration fee.
