Dr David Molloy is the former head of Queensland Fertility Group and one of Australia’s most senior authorities in fertility science, starting his career as a fertility specialist and operative gynaecologist in 1985. He is also the Director of Medical Affairs at QFG's parent company, Virtus Health.
David has been highly regarded as one of the country’s most skilled surgeons and conducted the very first laparoscopic hysterectomy in Queensland. He has since trained and educated numerous gynaecological surgeons in the techniques of modern surgery.
His Brisbane practice offers infertility and IVF management, pregnancy care and surgical treatment for endometriosis. David also finds himself regularly consulted to provide a second opinion on more challenging cases.
David enjoys helping his patients via a structured and highly analytical approach, albeit with a welcome dose of compassion and understanding.
His passion for the field also extends beyond his clinic and into the realm of industry advocacy and government policy. As Chair of IVF Medical Directors Group Australia, David has spent years working with government stakeholders to increase affordability and accessibility of IVF services for everyday Australians.
