The Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) is a society dedicated to developing and advancing fertility services in the Asia Pacific region. The 5th Congress of the Asia Pacific Regional Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE 2014), in conjunction with the FSA Annual Conference, was recently held in Brisbane April 4-6. World leading experts came together to share research findings about reproduction, reproductive medicine and patient care. 

Queensland Fertility Group is dedicated to improving outcome for fertility patients, and was proud to have a strong representation at this congress. 

Carmel Carrigan (Director of Nursing) was awarded “Best presentation by a nurse” for her presentation “Cross-border reproductive care – One clinic’s national and international experience”.   Scientific Director, Keith Harrison, was awarded best poster presentation for his research “Sperm autosome aneuploidy has a greater effect on embryo growth rates than sex chromosome aneuploidy”.
