Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) and Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital has moved to a new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Brisbane’s Spring Hill medical precinct.

The new clinic at 525 Boundary Street accommodates a specialist day hospital, IVF laboratory, embryo transfer rooms, and andrology lab all in one location to improve the patient experience and optimise pregnancy success rates.

The three-theatre facility has been designed to provide the best possible environment for procedures that range from IVF and fertility care including gynaecology, endoscopy and a range of surgical services.

“Our new facility has been custom designed to ensure that the journey from egg collection to embryo transfer is as simplified and stress-free as possible for patients and their embryos' said Professor Hayden Homer, Medical Director at Queensland Fertility Group.

“We have looked at all aspects of the fertility journey and we have designed the clinic specifically to maximise the best outcomes from assisted reproduction.

“The new facility has been purpose-built for assisted reproduction with vibration control and air filtering to allow our scientists and embryologists to do microscopic work in the lab.”

Melanie Sibson, Managing Director at Queensland Fertility Group says “QFG’s new home gives us greater capacity to meet the growing demand for IVF and fertility services in Brisbane and South East Queensland.

“The new location for our Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital is designed to provide exceptional surgical care in a facility that is utilised by many of Brisbane’s leading surgeons.”

QFG has been helping to create families for more than 40 years, and our fertility specialists consult from a range of locations throughout Brisbane.
