Dr Jamie Friebe

Dr. Jamie Friebe is a dedicated and highly experienced specialist committed to providing personalised, high-quality care in fertility, obstetrics and gynaecology. He believes in empowering his patients with clear, evidence-based information, ensuring they feel confident and supported throughout their journey.

Originally from Victoria, Jamie completed his medical degree at Monash University before undertaking his early medical training at Geelong Hospital. His passion for women’s health led him to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecology, completing his specialist training at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. He further honed his expertise with a fellowship at York Hospital in the UK, where he gained valuable experience in high-risk obstetrics, maternal-foetal medicine, gynaecological oncology, and complex pelvic surgery.

After returning to Australia, Jamie worked as a consultant in both public and private hospitals in Warrnambool before settling in Brisbane with his wife and two daughters in 2010.

Jamie’s areas of expertise include gynaecology, fertility and obstetrics. He is deeply committed to patient-centred care, ensuring his patients understand their options and feel actively involved in their healthcare decisions. With a warm and approachable manner, he strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment for every patient he sees.
